Author Guidelines

Journal of Language Studies in Islamic Contexts (JoLSIC) welcomes original, unpublished, and theoretically grounded research addressing linguistic and discourse-related phenomena within Islamic socio-cultural settings.

Submissions must demonstrate clear research questions, analytical rigor, and methodological transparency. Manuscripts that are purely descriptive, normative, theological, or devotional in nature without substantial linguistic analysis will not be considered.

Articles should engage critically with relevant scholarship and contribute meaningfully to ongoing academic conversations in linguistics, discourse studies, applied linguistics, sociolinguistics, pragmatics, or related fields.

All manuscripts are subject to editorial screening prior to peer review.
